Today, we set out to discover some of Sal’s most iconic sites on a half-day tour. Our first stop is the mesmerizing Blue Eye lagoon, where sunlight dances on deep blue waters in a natural rock formation. Next, we’ll witness the stunning optical illusion at Miragem and then unwind at the Salinas Salt Lake—take a float in the therapeutic saltwater, perfect for a refreshing dip. Afterward, we’ll cool off in the Buracona natural pool before heading to Shark Bay, where you can wade into the shallow waters and spot lemon sharks gliding by. We’ll embark on an optional 3-hour hike from Cova Natural Park to the stunning Green Valley of Paúl, guided by a local expert who will share the island’s hidden secrets. As we trek through lush landscapes, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the Paúl Volcano Crater, perched over 1000 meters above sea level.
