Your Itinerary

  • Your adventure begins in Windhoek, the vibrant capital where city charm meets desert horizons. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel to settle in after your journey. Take a moment to breathe in the warm Namibian air and let the excitement sink in. In the evening, enjoy welcome drinks with the group, the first of many shared moments and a delicious dinner that sets the tone for the days ahead.

  • Ease into the rhythm of Namibia with a scenic drive to two of the city’s icons: Christuskirche and the Independence Museum. The golden light of late afternoon makes the perfect backdrop for exploring, snapping photos, and taking it all in. As the sun dips, we gather for dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse - a Windhoek institution where good food and great company come standard.

  • A short drive takes us out of the city to Voigtland Guest House, set on a property where giraffes roam freely. Here, tea time is anything but ordinary. You’ll enjoy fresh-baked pastries, delicate sandwiches, and steaming tea as these towering animals stroll through the garden. It’s an up-close wildlife encounter with the comfort of a shaded table and great food. The evening is spent at Voigtland, where the quiet of the countryside is a welcome change from city life.

  • After breakfast by the ocean, we make our way back to Windhoek. The drive offers one last look at Namibia’s wide-open spaces, desert plains, occasional wildlife sightings, and the changing colors of the horizon. Once back in the city, the evening is yours to relax or explore a little more before our final farewell.

  • Enjoy a slow morning before your airport transfer. Whether you are heading home or continuing your travels, you leave with the sights, sounds, and open spaces of Namibia firmly etched in your memory.

  • We leave Voigtland and make the scenic drive west to Swakopmund. Along the way, the scenery shifts from rocky hills to endless stretches of desert. Swakopmund greets you with its cool ocean breeze and a mix of colonial-era buildings and beachside cafés. After checking in, we head straight for the Namib Desert dunes for a sunset quad biking ride. The golden light, sweeping dune views, and the thrill of speeding across the sand make this one of the trip’s most unforgettable moments.

  • In the morning, we trade sand for sea with a kayaking trip at Pelican Point. Here, fur seals gather in the hundreds, and many will swim right up to your kayak out of curiosity. It’s a playful, close encounter with Namibia’s coastal wildlife. After lunch, we visit Sandwich Harbour, where the towering dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean in a dramatic collision of landscapes. Standing on the edge where sand drops into surf is a true “only in Namibia” moment.

  • Today is all yours. You can linger over coffee at the Jetty Café, browse local craft markets, or walk the palm-lined streets and enjoy the blend of German architecture with Namibian charm. For those craving more adventure, optional activities include sandboarding down steep dunes, skydiving over the desert coast, or taking a scenic flight for a bird’s-eye view of the Skeleton Coast. Swakopmund is equally rewarding whether you keep it slow or push the pace.

In the evening, take the time to relax or join the group at the 6 Degrees Bar for drinks. Later, we’ll take a leisurely stroll to explore the vibrant Forodhani Night Market, where you can indulge in Zanzibar’s famous street food and soak up the lively atmosphere of this bustling cultural hub.
